1. OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy explains how Enforce Chain (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information. Name, email address, authentication identifiers, organization membership, and role metadata provided through our identity provider (Clerk).
Billing information. Subscription and payment details processed by our billing providers (for example Clerk Billing / Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Customer content. Blockchain addresses, case notes, uploads, watchlists, graph snapshots, and similar investigation data you submit.
Usage and technical data. Log data, IP address, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP, feature usage, and diagnostic events needed to operate and secure the Service.
Communications. Messages you send us (support, sales, legal) and related metadata.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and manage organization tenancy;
- Process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Generate screening, exposure, and case workflows you request;
- Monitor security, reliability, and product performance;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Communicate about the Service, incidents, and material updates.
4. SHARING
We may share information with:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, blockchain infrastructure);
- Your organization administrators and members as configured in your tenant;
- Professional advisors and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information.
5. BLOCKCHAIN AND PUBLIC DATA
Blockchain networks are public ledgers. Addresses and transaction data you analyze may already be publicly available. Attribution labels and open-source intelligence incorporated into the Service may combine public and licensed sources. Do not submit sensitive personal data in free-text fields unless necessary for your investigation.
6. RETENTION
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Organization administrators may request deletion of tenant content subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
7. SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Service at your own risk regarding residual security limitations.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms.
9. YOUR CHOICES
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. You may also update account details in the Service or through our identity provider.
10. CHILDREN
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. CHANGES
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
